It was that time again. The one that every doctor who had to renew their license dreaded. The Medical Board examinations were coming up and Cameron was one of the unlucky ones who needed to get her license renewed. Being too busy over the holiday season to do much studying, she decided that she'd just spend some time after work today to do some. Some time so far meant around two hours as it was around eight at night. Not very tired, but extremely bored, another book was put away.
What haven't I covered yet? Grabbing a sheet that had subjects to review, it looked as through she was on ICU cases. Looking through all of the medical journals, none of them seemed to jump out at her as ones to read. Really, studying was getting way too boring for her. She needed a jolt, a bit of fresh air... or just some more coffee.
Returning to her table and plush chair she found, much to her disappointment, no coffee left in her styrofoam cup. Making a little pout face at it, as though the lack of coffee was its fault, Cameron sank down into her chair. Placing her head in her hands, she couldn't help but mourn that tonight was going to be one long night.

Today was one of the slower days today for Kim. A lot of the nurses were around today, and not many cases had come in as of late. At least, none which Kim was wanted. Today was just a day for her to brush up on basicly whatever she could learn more about. Yes, she knew all basics and so many details that it wasn't even funny. But there was always something more. That was what amazed Kim. Even if she found every single treatment for every case, there would be that one which would escape her bout of knowlage. Of course, from what she had heard, that was when Dr. House came in, and Kim really never wanted it to go that far. She didn't like taking chances with patients, or doing guesswork.
And so, here she was, in the medical library and ready to....read. Mmm...such wild fun Kim. She thought with a small roll of the eyes. She pushed open the door silently, peeking her head around the corner, her blue eyes open wide. For some reason, Libraries made her feel like silence should always be kept, and to be interuputed was a complete disaster. Glancing around, she saw a woman at one of the tables with her head in her hands, looking like she wasn't exactly in the best of moods. Kim winced a little but came in as quietly as she could without seeming like she was a ghost trying to slip in and out of the world.
"Helllooo..." She said softly, a smile on her lips. "Guess I'm not the only one sniffing around to study." With a small movement of her hand, she messed with her hair just a bit before just giving up on it and letting it be. There was nothing to be done in the area of hairstyle, not that it was a monumental issue at a hospital.

Looking up from her hands, an intern stood a few feet away from her. The only reason she knew the girl was an intern was because she was House's intern. Cameron supposed that in a way the girl was her intern too. Heaven knew how much teaching she'd be doing for House. Not that he was a bad teacher. He was just a lazy one.
"Can I help you with something Dr..." it took a moment for her to come up with the girl's name, "Bellum?" Cameron almost hoped that House had come back in and someone was in dire need of their help. Almost. As much as she hated studying and wanted a break, wishing someone to start dying was a bit to nasty of a thing for her. Not that I haven't done some nasty things in the past.
Returning her attention to the intern, she slipped a hand around her empty coffee cup. Even if no one was dying, there was no way she could continue without more coffee. Her only problem at the moment was that the pot was at the opposite wall of the room.

Mmm...seemed like someone really didn't need to be disturbed. Not that it hadn't been obvious in the first place anyways. Surrounded by files, empty styrofoam cup, in the library....work was written all over this woman. Kim smiled a bit and shook her head, moving slowly towards the shelves in which she was going to spending most of her time. "No Dr. Cameron, I was just saying hello and then heading on my way to read up on some....stuff." A small blushed cover her cheeks, knowing that she could be a little more specific. The thing was, she honestly didn't know what she was going to read; she had just been planning on looking about and brushing up on something that would catch her attention, just because she didn't know it.
"I'll let you get back to your work." She said kindly, slightly turning towards the shelves, her blue eyes already looking up and down some of the dustier looking files before settling her eyes on the newer ones. Those were probably her best bet since old records of things weren't up to today's medical standards. And there were a lot of standards. Tugging a bit on her long sleeves, Kim softly blew a tuft of hair from her eyes glanced about, not sure where to begin.
