House was not happy already he had been stalked through the hospital, almost been chopped to bits by an angry chef and the pharmacy was still reluctant to fufill his perscription after the whole drug/rehab fiasco. House often came into Cuddy's office mad, or Cuddy summoned him to her office mad. It just was an angry place. Maybe it was the trimming on the windows, or the fertility meds still in the trashcan the world would never really know.
But he did know that these interns had to go. He refused to take on ickle students who couldn't tell the difference between a spleen and a leg. Secretly, well auctually not so secretly, House beleived that this was a problem that spanned to doctors as well. He liked to call it imcompetence, and he was having none of it.
He paced the office warily readying in his mind the perfect speech to berate both interns and Cuddy with. He had only met one so far, and for the moment (and forever) that was enough. Looking at the trash-can he recognized (albeit a little more slowly than usual) that there were no fertility meds. This either met one of two things that she had stopped trying because she had failed, or because she had suceeded. Judging by her stable mood and normal monthly consumption of yogart House guessed the former.
Suprisingly this did nothing to lighten his mood, if anything it only made him angrier. If she wanted a baby she should do everything in her power to get it. House hated people who only went half-way who claimed to care about something, to want it but didn't really give a rats-ass. He continued his angry pacing looking for someone or something (this of course applied to the interns) to take out his anger on.

Always one to be prompt, Charlotte was the next to enter the office of Dr. Cuddy. She smiled ever so slightly when she noticed that she was only the second to arrive. She was happy with herself. First would have bee awkward and last would have made a bad impression. Charlotte was brought up to know that first impression meant everything, no matter what anyone told you. "You must be Dr. House." Charlotte said, her voice smooth and somewhat deep, yet still feminine. "I'm Charlotte Simone." she introduced herself, extending a dainty right hand to the doctor with an inviting smile across her lips.
Charlotte was dressed quite professional as far as she was concerned. A simple black pencil skirt hung from her hips and hit at her knee with a slit in the back so she could walk like a normal person. A white oxford style top covered her upper body, buttoned up far enough that one could just glimpse at her collar bone. She was not one to show a lot of skin. Peaking out from the opening at the top of her shirt was also a rather small, yet elaboratly detailed, platinum cross. Charlotte was raised in the Catholic church, what else would you expect? A white lab coat was draped over her other attire and black mary-janes covered her feet with just an inch of a heel to give Charlotte's 5'7" frame just a bit of a lift.
Charlotte's light brown locks were tied in a low ponytail with a side part, revealing her face. She wore little make-up; just a bit of mascara, blush, powder, and chapstick. Charlotte hated when females looked more like drag queens then women. She actually made fun of people like that. But then again, Charlotte made fun of almost everyone. Little Miss Passive Aggressive, she was all about making people feel inferior. However, she would never act that way toward Dr. House. After all, he was her superior. That would just be extremly inappropriate.

Oh lovely this intern was a rich girl. He knew immeadiately by the lilt of her voice that had all of the ring of the uper-class but at the same time was not english or foriegn. It was also in the way she carried herself the old-world manners. House groaned mentally, if she was rich that probably meant she gave money to the hospital. That meant that Cuddy would be only part with the girl if it meant that she was sexually harassing House. Wonderfull.
"Charmed," he said mockingly, corssing his hands and turning around in a obviously rude gesture. "I'm the incorrigable one," he said continuing to mock her tone and uppercrust manners. House was far from passive-agressive, he was just plain agressive. Maybe it came with the territory of being a guy, or maybe it was just a House thing. If this girl's deepest fear was rude-ness, large-stains and being innapropriate House was going to be her worst nightmare, and the great part (for him at least) was that he wouldn't even have to try at it.
House loved being lazy and still getting work done. That is if you could call driving away people work, House certainly did.

Charlotte tensed her body and faked her smile just a bit more then before as she observed Dr. House's response to her introduction. Oh, this was going to be an interesting internship. "Well, it's nice to meet you Dr. House." she forced in a normal tone. Charlotte relaxed herself a bit, still keeping good posture. Charlotte was lucky to have naturally good posture. She didn't have to work at it. She attributed this to her years of ballet class as a child.
"I suppose I understand your disappointment." Charlotte replied to Dr. House. "After all, what sort of doctor really enjoys dealing with interns anyway?" she continued with a rather cordial laugh following. She tried to relate, but was probably doing a rather poor job. She wasn't used to people who were so outwardly pessimistic. This was certainly...new. It would be a challenge, she could say that for certain.
Charlotte took a few steps further into the room. She had been standing near the door since she had entered. She wondered how much longer it would take for the rest of the interns at Dr. Cuddy to arrive. The conversation between herself and Dr. House was already beyond awkward.

Kim peeked her head into the doorway and then tried not to sigh when she saw Dr. House there. Awww....well there's that little ray of sunshine in this hospital. She thought with a small smile, a smile she directed at the other woman in the room. "Hello." She said brightly, slipping into the room and sticking her hands in her pockets. "Nice to see you again Dr. House. Is your paitent doing well enough?" Kim asked with a very cheesy grin, tilting her head to the side. He looked as every bit as cranky as she had last seen him. Maybe something was permenately stuck up his....well, you get the picture.
She looked over to the other girl in the room and she smiled again, feeling pity since she had apparently been alone in the room with House. "And I'm Kim by the way, nice to meet you...." She said, holding out her hand to shake. Well, at least Kim wasn't alone in her internship with Dr. House. Maybe there would be some sort of enjoyment through out the day. At least....as long as the girl wasn't like Dr. House or like Stanwood was. People just aren't friendly when it comes to medicine anymore!

She was beautiful, probably rich, certainly had some modium of intelligence but House couldn't be anything but bored when he looked at her. She was so obviously trying to be mysterious that it gave away more about her than if she had just spilled out her life-story. For example the pencil skirt, modest but with the heels revealed that she was secure, but slightly confined by the by her own life-style. She would probably be fun roaring drunk, and besides that an utter bore.
"Ha ha," house laughed sarcasitcally whirling around to show her an almost pained expression as her her very presence irritated him beyond no end. Mysterious was all well and good but not when it meant you didn't say anything interesting, and just stood around passively agressively trying to make a stab and ending the awkwardness of the conversation. House didn't like suck-ups and this girl had already proved herself to be a top-quality one.
Just as he finished his last disdainful glance and resumed his pacing. She showed up. House changed his mind he would take mysterious over annoying any time and the worlds most annoying intern had just strode into the office. Hearing the girl ask about his patient House mock frowned, "My patient is as good as your hair, that is to say that they just went into cardiac arrest."

Zarah's head almost, key-word almost, tilted to the side as she heard the chatter inside the room. Boy, someone sounded a little bit grumpy. She guessed that was his normal attitude, though. She pressed her hand against the side of the door as she carefully examined the three that were in the room. Great, she really didn't feel like being a people-person today, she was far from it. She had a rough night sleeping from worry, for her little niece Hannah had gotten pneumonia. Being the 'kind' Aunt she was, she stayed up half the night to make sure her niece was going to be alright, so her tired brother could get some sleep. He really didn't deserve her kindness. He had stabbed her in the back plenty of times, but really it was no surprise to her.
"Well, I suppose I'm in the right place, because as I can see, someone's already in a bad mood. Let me guess, they're forcing you to teach?" she asked plainly. She was in for a fun day, she could tell it already. Yes, that was sarcasm to all of you who don't recognize it. "At least you weren't stuck watching a four year old half the night for a dim-witted brother." she muttered under her breath, pretty much inaudible. She was ready to go home and go back to bed. Maybe even take a nice, relaxing bubble bath. Why did she have to come here today? She just knew something would go wrong, and it had already happened. Hannah. She should have told her brother no, it would have been simple. Her nice act had to go.
Ha, like she would tell her brother no. She loved him, and she loved Hannah. She couldn't let Josh ruin Hannah's life just because he's an idiot. She looked back to Dr. House, amused by his comments on both of women that were already in the room. Were there going to be any guys? She needed something to brighten up her day. "Not that you really care, but my name's Zarah." she stated with little enthusiasm. He wouldn't get the thrill of her trying to swoon over him like what she guessed a lot of women did. Some people were just plain out desperate. She tugged on the sleeve of her sweet wisteria-colored micro-chenille sweater as it was tucked ever-so-slightly farther up than it should. She loved her sweater, for one it was soft, second, it was purple. Her cat loved it too, but the cat was forced to get off of it, so Zarah got the pleasure of using a lint roller to remove the cat's hair. Fun, fun. Her life was full of fun. If it was any more fun she'd most likely have to kill herself. She gave an inward eye roll to her thoughts in her head. Maybe she wasn't the only person, however, that didn't sarcastically bag on her own life?

William was walking calmy towards Dr. Cuddy's office. As far as he knew, he wasn't late, so there was no reason to rush. That other intern, Kim Bellum, had walked so fast that William barely noticed when she disappeared from his eyesight. Talk about being in a hurry.
He made sure his navy blue suit was, well, perfect. With not a single crease. Dr. Cuddy's office seemed to be full already, with four people inside. Three girls and one man that looked ready to commit murder. Was that Dr. House?
Perhaps he was really a genius of medicine... but, well, he didn't seem to have the best of moods. Mr. Stanwood opened the door and walked inside. "Hello." he said, nodding politely. "I'm Wiliam Stanwood."
And thus, his life as an intern began. From the scene inside the room, he could tell that it was going to very interesting...

"Mmm...I think someone needs some more sleep." She commented carelessly, sinking into one of the chairs. Just because her hair had some sense of style....
Looking over her sholder, Kim saw another woman come in, apparently another intern from her comment. You know, if I didn't enjoy messing with him, I would almost have pity for the Good Doctor right now. She thought with an inward smirk. And to think, it was another intern with a sarcasm to match his own. Crossing her legs and her arms at the same time, Kim smiled perkily and said something before he could. "Actally, from the way he sounds, I think they're pulling out his teeth one by one." She said sweetly, not bothering to look over at Dr. House. Could her day get any worse when it came to dealing with people in bad moods? Or maybe that's just the way things ended up around here...
Zarah...hm, interesting name. Maybe when the girl got some more sleep or more caffine, Kim could get off her little sarcastic trip and maybe start talking civilized to some people. If only she could control her tongue during certin times, it was possible that moods could get a little better. But from the way things had been going today, this was either going to be the worst or the best of days. She was hoping for the former...
Smiling a little bit when Stanwood came in, Kim gave a mini-wave. "Hallo Stanwood. Glad for you to pop in." She said in a conversive tone.

Charlotte watched the other interns practically file into the room. She didn't say a word. She just stood with her arms crossed casually, a stupid smile plastered on her delicate face. Speaking now would certainly make her look like a fool in all of the commotion and chaos of the less then adequate introductions going on around her. Charlotte hated chaos. She also hated looking like a fool, but who doesn't? Charlotte was brought up to understand that women were expected to be docile and while she did not necessarily agree with this notion, she would uphold it simply because, contrary to popular belief, she essentially lacked inner strength.
Charlotte wondered what exactly everyone was going to do in the confines of Dr. Cuddy's relatively small office. At least, it seemed small when there were so many people corralled inside of it. Ugh, panic attack? Let's hope not. The last thing that Charlotte needed was for everyone to know about her medical history before they even got to know her as a person. Charlotte took a deep breath and focused on the office door, hoping that Dr. Cuddy would enter soon because she assumed that when she arrived this meeting of sorts would officially commence.

Coffee in her right hand, clipboard and pen in the other. Lisa Cuddy was a woman on a mission, and it showed in everything she did. Her long, curly brown hair was pulled back into a low, messy bun at the nape of her neck - thrown together at the last minute earlier in the day when she'd had a bit of a nervous breakdown and had started to feel ugly and fat and old, especially in comparison to the hot, big-breasted interns who were running amuck in the hospital nowadays - and she'd opted to wear something that showed next to no cleavage, primarily because she didn't need House commenting on her tits in front of all the new interns.
If House even attempted to undermine her or flirt with her or comment on the size of her relatively large tits, things would not go very well during this meeting. Not very well at all, she thought to herself musingly. She would either a) let it slide, b) curse at the top of her lungs or c) do something entirely uncalled for, all of which would make her look easily flustered and unprofessional. As this was the first formal meeting with her new interns - the best and the brightest, she'd found, for Cuddy would never have anything less - she wanted nothing more than to come off as being professional. And superior. Don't forget completely and utterly superior.
The coffee had seemed to be a necessity, and it was why she was running relatively late right now. Her nerves had been shot, so hey! Why not throw some caffinne into your system, right? Cuddy took another big gulp from the large cup, readjusting her slender fingers so that they all were holding the sleeve wrapped around the cup and not the cup itself. She wondered, in a brief and neurotic moment, if perhaps she was drinking too much coffee. Maybe caffinne could somehow stunt the child's growth, thus causing a miscarriage.
Right. And maybe she could birth the next Messiah.
As Cuddy walked into her office she rather casually brushed past all of the interns and House, ignoring all of them for a few moments as she set her coffee onto the desk, pushing a strand of dark hair behind her ear. She casually made her way to her seat and went into the drawers of her desk, pulling out each of the inters' files and setting them on the desk. Keeping her eyes on the files as she opened them and began to scan through, Cuddy finally spoke up, her voice musing and light-hearted.
"So very quiet in here. House, you must have scared them shitless."
Cuddy leaned back in her chair, eyeing the inters scrutinizingly and adjusting her thin white skirt over her slender thighs. God, she was a cow in comparison to these women. She hoped House wasn't staring at the Bellum girl's breasts yet. She might have to ask the girl to wear more clothing if that were the case. "Simone, Bellum, Stanwood and...Travers. Okay." She pointed lacsidasically at House, as though already preparing herself for a complaining fest from him - which she'd undoubtedly have to suffer over and over and over again. "Doctor House here is your mentor, of sorts. He will be supervising you and, while I'll be watching your progress myself, he'll be the one you actually have to impress. And that, kids, is no easy feat."

"Woah, woah, woah," House did waving his hands around like a mime sufer, oddly though acidicly comical. "These, things," he said making a vauge motion in the direction of all of the interns, though not looking there way at all. "Have about as much knowledge of medicin as Jimmy the Janitor. I don't know about you but if I were a big donor, and let me remind you the kinds of cases you give me, I would not want some mop anywhere near my spleen." He said, his gaze softening slightly though frowning at her choice of attire and cofee.
She was feeling insecure so probably the best tatic right now was not to push her, but instead softly flatter her. House was horrible at flattery though and wouldn't do it in front of other people much less interns. It would send completly the wrong message if they say him sucking up, might auctually think she was his boss then and you couldn't be having that. House liked things the way they were which were weird, and if other people started acting normal than inevitably order ended up being restored to the universe. House thrived in chaos (his apartment was evidence enough) so order was a big no-no. "Why don't we just save everybody the trouble and assign them to Wilson or Niqueh."
That was about as close to sweet as House would ever get and he was still in a completly different galaxy.

God. He needed to learn to accept his responsibilities and deal with it.
"Because Wilson's got a lot on his mind and I don't think Niqueh can handle it at the moment," Cuddy said smoothly and unbelievably calmly. "Besides, they'll learn most from you, you know that. But I'm warning you: corrupt them and you'll be out of this hospital. These are pure, chaste youths." The last line came out of her mouth in a strong, mock-proud way, exaggerating an already exaggerated point. "Don't make clones of yourself, that is, House."
She smiled a little at her own words, reaching out a slender, pale hand to take her coffee cup and sip at it lightly, sighing in content at the strong, almost overwhelming aroma. God, she missed caffine, and the strong scent of coffe. Such a picker-upper...she should start drinking more of it, perhaps. Only House had ever had the pleasure of seeing Cuddy piss drunk, but no one had ever seen her hopped up at caffine. Maybe...at the Christmas party...
But that was for another day. Cuddy glanced through the files one last time before handing them to House, tapping her toes idly against the carpetted floor beneath her high-heeled feet. "Interns," she said now, taking time to talk to the group of eager young minds before her - god, she could remember when she had been as naive as they were, what a nightmare - and taking a break from lecturing House. "Please do not expect a warm welcome. You are here to learn, not to teach, so I'd advise all of you to keep your mouths shut and just watch. She popped a piece of gum into her mouth and quietly began to chew. "Everyone needs to commit to this one hundred percent. If you want something you go for it, understood? If I hear of any slacking off - that's real, of course, don't try to trick me, House - you're out of the program. Understood?"

"How about disobeying oders," House said perking up immeadiately. For the first time in his seven years it was quite possible that House had an auactual grievence against someone, that wasn't caused by provocation (well at least not completly). He noticed her coffee and winced. Another sign that she wasn't trying, she wouldn't be drinking that much cofee (she had two more cups ready in the wings) if she was still hoping. Not that one cup would do the job but she was drinking far more than one cup. They needed to have a talk and soon. "Wilson always has a lot on his mind, these people would do to help him do his paperwork or something, and Niqueh can't ever handle anything, fire him or give him the interns."
This was all false Bravado of course because House had no real sway in the hiring and firing process at PPTH (other than his own fellows of course), if he did the hospital would have a lot less employees. "This one," he said pointing to Kim, "chased me through the halls when I spefically told her to stay in my office sorting my email. It was an important educational job that she blatantly ignored and then induced a woman into labor. That's got to count against her or something. And I bet they are all like that. Do we want a bunch of premature babies or something because that's what we'll get if we keep them around."
House was gasping at strings and the logic sounded rediculous even to his own ears and he had built up a high tolerent for absurdity over the years.

A small smile went onto her lips as she watched Dr. Cuddy and Dr. House go back and forth, having pity for her if Cuddy had to deal with him all the time. More than likely he was a bit more cynical than usual because of his dislike for extra responsiblity. Kim nodded her head in acknowlagement as Dr. Cuddy directly said no slacking off. She wasn't about to, and from she first day here, it seemed that she would not be given to chance to anyways. Besides, half-followed orders were not thing she did, even by accident. It was dangerous to not follow all directions, and she had learned that the hard way back in UGA.
Kim's eyes got a little wider the second she heard House say "Disobeying Orders". Oh he isn't... She thought, surely. But for the second time today, she underestimated the old fart. Sitting up and uncrossing her legs/arms, Kim directly straightened her back and said the defense she had, which was basicly the truth, and she said it directly at the Good Doctor. "Dr. House, surely you are mistaken. You directed me to delete every male-ehancement email, which I finished rather quickly. As a matter of fact, I finished before you even left, sir, and that was when I went to find you and ask if you needed anything else. I am sorry that you ran into that woman sir, but I am certin it was due to your being anxious to get to your next paitent, and not through me." All stessing of words were for a point.
The fact that he would stoop that low...but then again, what else could she expect? She thought back to just a second ago when Dr. Cuddy said not to expect a warm welcome. Well, she wasn't lying on that point, Kim had the proof sitting, glaring, and probably mentally cursing before her.
