It was nearing mid-day, the clocks hands creeping ever closer to the large printed 12, but at the current moment they rested just a few minutes past 11 o'clock am. The cafeteria was slowly starting to become occupied, but it was still far from filled. The day was rainy and rather chill, a dull gray natural light sneaking in through the numerous windows in the eatery. Charlotte entered the cafeteria alone, heading over to the counter to purchase something to eat. Charlotte was in the forced habit of eating four small meals a day. She ate at 7 am, 11 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm for the most part. She tried not to deviate from her eating schedule. After all, her life depended on it. A long time sufferer of various eating disorders, Charlotte developed cardiac arrhythmia and in order to avoid the risk of heart palpitations she needed to eat regularly. She, of course, was not overly thrilled with that.
After Charlotte had paid for her lunch, she took a seat by herself at a relatively small table intended for no more then four people to gather at. Her tray was positioned directly in front of her and displayed a spread of an apple, a small dry salad, and a bottle of water. She poked at the lettuce in her salad with her plastic cutlery, frowning as she regretted not opting to pack her own lunch. This was just not up to par. She crossed her legs in a very ladylike fashion and scanned the room once before stabbing a piece of lettuce and allowing it to pass between her lips. It tasted bland and a bit wilted, but Charlotte forced it down.

Kim took one look at the selection of food this place had to offer and turn quickly turned around to land her eyes on the snack machine. "Ohh....baby, I love you." She said softly as she scooted up to it, lightly running her finger down the glass as she peered through at the complete choice of totally unheathly junk foods. Taking her change out, she poked her tongue out through her lips and she counted up, thrilled that she had enough for two snacks and a drink too. This was what she could call a good lunch. Pushing in the money, Kim punched the numbers for a bag of Doritos and a Honeybun, the best combo for all of your snacking needs. She bent down, making sure her jeans and shirt weren't pulling apart and revealing unpublic areas of her body, and she grabbed her prize before whipping up some more change and getting herself a Coke, the drink of good o'l Georgia.
Kim smiled her pleasure and was about to plop herself down at the end of one table before she spotted one of the other interns. Something Simone? Kim had seen her in Dr. Cuddy's office, but she didn't really say anything since she had been a little busy defending herself against Dr. House. She re-ordered her direction and plopped down in the seat across from the girl instead, grinning brightly. "Hey there, how's the day been?" She asked, popping open her can of Coke. She took a big gulp out of it and then propped her elbows on the table. "I've been in dire need of some caffine and sugar."
