[align=center]Edward Vogler is the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to Doctor Gregory House. He is controlling and bossy. He acts as though he owns every employee at the hospital and is often trying to force people to fire others. His insidiousness does not beat that of House's, but the two still are trying one-up each other. House never thought anything worse could happen besides Vogler getting to be chairman of the board. Adding to all of that, other things are happening to the hospital.
Sister, I'm not much a poet, but a criminal
And you never had a chance
Love it, or leave it, you can't understand
A pretty face, but you do so carry on
Wilson has been brought back to work because there is nobody else able to run the oncology department as well as he could. Wilson was the only one able to keep the place in check. Cuddy is still struggling, becoming the rope between Vogler and House's vicious game of tug-of-war. She can't convince House to do anything she asks let alone get him to do anything. Vogler is still harping her because of it. Every where she turns, Vogler is there. He watches the move of every doctor, trying to con them into doing unnessecary things with harsh threats of losing jobs.
I wouldn't front the scene if you paid me
I'm just the way that the doctor made me.
Love is the red of the rose on your coffin door
What's life like, bleeding on the floor.
You'll never make me leave
I wear this on my sleeve
Give me a reason to believe
Stacey Warner has been hired as the new constitutional lawyer at the hospital. It makes it easier for her to get Mark, her husband, to the hospital for his rehabilition. Since his parlysis, nothing has quite between the same for the two. They seem to fight constantly, and with their relationship heading the same way as her past one with House, Stacey becomes worried. House is trying to get her to admit that she still loves him, but she doesn't give. At least not yet.
So give me all your poison
And give me all your pills
And give me all your hopeless hearts
And make me ill
You're running after something
That you'll never kill
If this is what you want
Then fire at will
Allison Cameron is still following her pursuit of Dr. House, no matter what her colleagues say about her, behind her back and to her face. She still tries to get House to go out with her and fall for her, but House still persists in his idea of him being her next charity case. Dr. Eric Foreman is still confused over the reason House hired him. The rising tension between the two elevates as House continues to rap on him. Robert Chase is still having a largely conflicted relationship with his father. Will Chase renew their relationship before it's too late?
Preach all you want but who's gonna save me?
I keep a gun on the book you gave me, hallelujah, lock and load
Black is the kiss, the touch of the serpent son
It ain't the mark or the scar that makes you one
Just when the team thought things were bad in their personal lives, kids at the local Bella Vista High School start coming down with bizarre illnesses. The teachers don't know what's wrong or how anything happened. The doctors can't find traces of anything around the school. Could a young patient at the hospital hold the key to the strange diseases plaguing the students? The doctors are bugging youthful, leukema inflicted Ashely Gauthreaux for the answer, but will he fess up, or is there more to the story than everyone is letting on?
