The Law of the Land
The First Law:
Quality over quantity. The most important thing to me is not that you post five billion pages of role-playing but that what you do post is good quality.
1. I expect basic grammar, this means capitalizing names, beginnings of sentences and your I’s. Quotation marks around speech and paragraphs are also a necessary as well as some rudimentary understanding of punctuation.
2. Give important detail. You have to know what to focus on when writing. I ( and I’m sure many other roleplayers) don’t want to know about exactly which parts of your characters body were washed this morning, we will want to know what they are wearing and how they are feeling.
3. Each post should be no less than three-sentences long at a minimum, however as previously mentioned if your posts are of good enough quality length is inconsequential.
4. Write in third person with speech in first person.
The Second Law
Have your characters be interesting but not implausible.
1. Make your characters a realistic person. This means that if you don’t think it would really happen or probably wouldn’t happen than don’t create it.
2. You’re character is not the star. There is no star in a roleplay, a roleplay is a collaboration not a competition so please don’t try to make your character the best at everything. Flaws are what make a character interesting.
3. No daughters or sons of the cannon character please.
4. Death will happen, when introducing a character (especially a patient) you have to be prepared to let him or her go.
The Third Law
Do no harm.
1. Do not in any way shape or form harass other members out of character.
2. Roleplaying is a game, if someone is mean to you IC, that does not mean that they do not like you OCC.
3. Viewer discretion is advised there will be some graphic content in both gore and language.
4. Do not spam.
5. Do not steal graphics.
6. Please do not have graphics with dimensions any larger than 300x700.
Other MISC Rules
1. Please register with the name of your character and create a new account for each character.
2. Please check out the cannon list before creating an original character.
3. If you have read this put: You can’t always get what you want at the bottom of your application.
4. Make sure to apply before you post anywhere else. =)
