Information about your Character
Doctor, Patient, Nurse or Intern?
Name: Emilie Jacqueline Lefebvre
Age: Twenty-Six
Profession Pediatrician (Patient Here Though)
Ethnicity: Australian
------
Personal Style:
Emilie is very fashionable, there is not a day where she doesn’t look nice. Her style is conservative, but pretty, she wears very few of those slutty low-cut tops that men seem to like these days more and more. Were you to characterize her style in a way of a stereotype, you would probably go with bohemian or prep. Above all Emilie likes to be both comfortable and fashionable, and her clothes nearly always match in at least one way. She also adores jewellery of all kinds, and she’s got a rather large collection at home.
Physical Appearance:
Emilie Lefebvre is probably one of the prettiest girls you’ll ever meet, even if she won’t admit it. Standing at a height of about 5’8”, Emilie is taller than the average girl, and this is balanced out with her slim figure. Long golden blonde, slightly wavy hair adorns her head, falling down just past her shoulders, making her crystal blue eyes stand out even more. Her eyes are something that immediately lures people to her, they are the kind of eyes that make you think there’s something more to Emilie than she’s showing you, and more often than not there certainly is.
Scars/Tatoos/ Piercings:
There’s a long scar down the center of her back caused by her father, and a small scar on her hip bone from a skating incident when she was young, she’d tripped and cut her side open on her skate. Emilie has had pierced ears since she was a child, but she’s worried that getting anything else pierced or tattooed for that matter, would just hurt too much.
Best Physical Feature:
Anyone who has met Emilie will be able to tell you that the thing they find most intriguing about her is her crystal blue eyes. They’re the kind of eyes you could stare into forever just trying to figure out the messages they’re desperately trying to show, they’re the kind of eyes you can get lost in.
Worst Physical Feature:
There is a long scar down the center of her back caused by one of her father’s numerous abuses that Emilie finds terrible. She hates looking at it, though sometimes she’ll spend hours with a mirror just staring at it, as if trying to get rid of it with her eyes. She hates her entire back because of it and tries not to show many people.

Personality:
Emilie is over all a very loving and generous person. Emilie would do anything for her friends and family and values them very much. Emilie is a very deep person, always filled with words of wisdom and poetry from the heart. When you first meet her she is incredibly shy, quiet, and nervous, she is also this way around guys she likes. Once you get to know her she opens up, becoming outgoing, witty, and funny. Emily loves to make jokes, mind you they’re usually on the lame side, and she admits this full out, but she makes them anyways.
Emilie is an incredibly intelligent and creative person, always a hard worker, she is definitely a perfectionist and a neat freak. She is the kind of person who would rather stay home and hangout with her family than go out and get drunk at a party. Emilie puts her heart into everything she does and tries her hardest to succeed; she’s a very dedicated person. Emilie takes her life very seriously and knows where she wants to go in life and what she wants to do with it well ahead of time. Not one to be greedy Emilie takes only what she needs and does what she can to help people out. She would do anything he could to help a perfect stranger and expect nothing in return.
There is a lot that Emilie hides from the world, mainly her past, which she tells no one. If they ask, she gets off the topic as quickly as she can. She doesn’t want anyone pitying her, nor does she want people to think that she is telling them just to get attention, Emilie is what you might call a wall-flower, she’d prefer to live life out of the lime-light with just her friends and family. Secretly she dreams of true love and her knight in shining armour, but she doubts that it will happen, and so she focuses on her work and tries to block out any feelings she might have. She fears getting hurt.
Biggest Personality Flaw:
Emilie has a habit of hiding her real feelings, or putting them away for a more ‘appropriate time’ which usually never happens. She’s terrified of being hurt again and of rejection as well. So Emilie doesn’t have relationships further than a date or so, she’s scared that if she gets involved with someone too much something bad will happen.
Biggest Personality Strength:
Emilie is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, she’ll always help anyone in need. She treats everyone she meets with the same amount of respect no matter what situation they’re in, she wishes it’d been that way with her father. Emilie is gentle and loving and well-liked by children, parents, and people in general.

Brief Medical History:
As a child, Emilie was rarely sick, which was something that she’d always been quite happy about, aside from the brutal beatings from her father that caused numerous bruises and sometimes scars. Throughout her life she’d had the usual colds, flu, basically everything people normally had, that is up until about four months ago.
Recently Emilie had bee, getting very tired, running a high fever, waking up in the middle of the night sweating, bruising without injury, and also losing quite a bit of weight without a change of diet. When her ribs come into sudden pain and her breathing becomes short, Emilie decides that she should see a doctor, for even though she is one herself she cannot pinpoint her symptoms to a specific disease.
As she sits in the waiting room of Princeton-Plainsborough she suddenly cannot breathe and she notices her hands dotted with little red spots. She’s rushed to intensive care and awakes the next day confused and frightened. All of her symptoms except for one add up to one potentially fatal disease; Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The doctors begin treatment as chemotherapy and radiation to begin fighting the disease. Emilie has been doing surprisingly well until once again she cannot breathe, both her throat and right hand swelling up. The doctors are puzzled and desperately try to figure out what’s wrong with her before she could potentially die.
History:
Emilie Lefebvre was born to loving parents James and Lana Harrison in Sydney, but the happiness would not last long. Her father became abusive towards her mother a few months after her birth and Emilie and her mother left him. Things went well for Emilie and her mother while they were on their own, but again, it wouldn’t last long. A few years later Emilie’s father found them and they were living with him once more, they had no choice. Forced to move from their finally established home Emilie and her mother once more found themselves in the abusive household, though at such a young age Emilie did not understand what was going on. At age seven Emilie’s father became abusive towards her, telling her that she was never wanted and that she was worthless. Sometimes he would go for Emilie’s mother instead of her, so Emilie would provoke her father into beating her instead for she didn’t want harm to come to her mother.
At ten Emilie began to run away from home, though her father would find her eventually and bring her home for another brutal beating while her mother cried in the bathroom. Emilie would go to her mother afterwards and promise her that things would be okay eventually, that it wouldn’t always be the way that it was. Emilie hid the bruises and sometimes cuts from whatever her father was hitting her with hidden, for she didn’t want anyone to know. Emilie felt it was her fault and felt she had done something wrong to make her father the way he was, but at school she pretended to be the happy-go-lucky kid she should’ve been.
One night the beatings were so bad that Emilie ended up in the hospital, where she would admit to one nurse what had really happened to put her in such a state. She was in hospital for two weeks, spending time with this nurse who acted like more of a parent than she had ever known, her mother had disappeared off the face of the earth, a few days later she saw on the news that her mother had been killed and her father had committed suicide. Evangeline Lefebvre, the French nurse who had been so kind to her and her husband Jude adopted her, and she became Emilie Lefebvre, gaining a brother Sam and moving away from Sydney to where she is now. She was merely sixteen.
The rest of her teen years were much more normal, and she began to heal from the wounds deep inside of her, finally the pain started going away. After graduation she headed for University, her goal was now to become a doctor like Jude, or a nurse like Sarah. When she became a doctor she spent an internship at a children's centre, and then four months at a childnre's hospital, though she then transferred to her current workplace, a special clinic for children.

Roleplaying Sample:
Chase was regretful, regretful of ever agreeing to go to his father's dinner party. It was of course to be Billy's band mates, which Chase wasn't too thrilled about. He looked up to his father, of course he did for he himself was a musician, though that didn't mean he wanted to hang around with the band. And that was when Chase had gotten the news. No, he wouldn't be hanging out with Good Charlotte, or his father for that member, he would end up spending time with children of his father's friends. Great. Chase wasn't pleased, frankly he would much have rathered to just stay home and continue writing the song he'd been working on all day, but his father simply wouldn't allow it.
Now Chase wasn't really one to argue with his father, he was always worried that his father would go back into seclusion again and that it would be his entire fault, so he did his best not to screw anything up. It was hard living like that, Chase had to admit, and when he was around his father he usually felt like he was walking on eggshells. Don't get it wrong though, Chase is also an emotional guy like his father, but his father's way of dealing with things is to hide from them, where as Chase either ignores them and moves on or actually goes to the trouble to try and fix them. This problem however, the problem of the dinner party, could not be fixed no matter how hard he tried. Even his mother wasn't helping.
So Chase had headed into the restaurant in silence, well, other than his white cane tapping out lightly in front of him. He'd dressed quite nicely, and of course he only knew this from what his mother had told him; black dress pants, black dress shoes, a white shirt with blue and yellow stripes unbuttoned a bit at the top, and his favourite black hat. Brushing his shaggy white hair from his eyes Chase held onto his mother's arm with the other, letting her guide him towards their table. He heard the wolf whistles, which were obviously not directed at him, and he turned his head in direction of the voices. They were most likely directed towards some good-looking girl, not that Chase could tell, and if he could see her he most likely wouldn't care. It was when he found himself losing grip on his mother's arm that caused the problem. Suddenly he had no idea where he was going, and though his cane tapped ahead of him it couldn't prevent the incident that came next.
In a moment's time Chase found himself colliding with something, which he quickly discovered to be someone. He stepped back a bit, putting a hand to his head, of course worried that he'd either hurt or angered the person.
"I'm so sorry!" Chase exclaimed, outstretching a hand to feel out for the person, and his hand hit a shoulder. Of course he had no idea who this person was, but he was sure he'd find out quickly.
