Greg's wince was noted with a hint of sadistic satisfaction. Wilson rose, hit with the sudden need to hear some Miles Davis or John Coltrane or something that would calm him down. He shrugged off his soiled white coat and laid it over one arm, a nice dark blue shirt and that usual striped tie left beneath. James wrapped the yo-yo in a napkin, intending to go wash it off and return it to the playroom from whence it came...or get a nurse to do it, or something. He was a bit too pissed at House's kleptomaniacal tendencies to think much about it. They were both done with lunch anyway, or they were now, and he had to go back to work sometime.
And James was about to storm off, too, until he saw what House meant about becoming a murderer. The friendly Frenchman was waving some unpleasant utensil at the both of them with a distinctively unfriendly look. If he was another person, he would've walked up to the chef and made up something about how House was still complaining about his reuben, just to watch the cripple attempt to escape some deadly kitchen tool with dastardly glee. Oh, to do it, or not to do it...

"You wouldn't, you care to much to see me cut into ribbons." House said confidently sure that the risk of being disembowled by an angry foriegner was one Wilson wouldn't take. The worst the guy had ever done was cut his cane in half (and cut a deal with a detective forcing him into rehab) and that was after weeks of torture. Here he had only thrown a stolen yo-yo into his salad, by accident no less. The conditions were hardly prime for mass-murder.
Though that glint in his friends eye seemed to speak otherwise. House decided it was time for an exit himself. He knew Jimmy was a nice guy, but everybody lies could easily be modified to everybody breaks character when angry. And Jimmy was no doubt quite angry, one might even say furious. "I think I can here a patient to be calling, better hurry up before they die or something." House said vaugely getting up with some effort before limping off in the exit away from the side they came in, and the cook.

Though he hadn't summoned the cook, the sight of House limping off quickly with his tail between his legs in fear of what Wilson might or might not do was enough to give him a chuckle. That, and the fact that James had an idea of where House was going; probably up to Cuddy's office, either to complain about or meet his new interns. Not that it would get him anywhere...
Jimmy looked back down to the table where the salad bowl and tray sat, then down to his wrapped-up yo-yo. With a sigh and a wry smile, Wilson scooped up the tray and etc. in his free hand and stopped by a trash can on his way out, sliding the toy into the pocket of the coat he would now need to send to the dry cleaners. And now? Back to work, of course. Wilson steeled himself and wiped the expression from his face, ever the dutiful, knowledgable, reassuring doctor.
